Setting Boundaries during the Holiday Season
As new parents, the holidays can feel extra special—but also extra challenging. With a newborn in tow, everyone is excited to see the baby, and it’s easy to feel pulled in so many directions. But here’s the thing: setting boundaries is so important, even though it can be tough. Boundaries are about protecting your peace and making the holidays work for YOU. It’s all part of this new chapter.
Our investment in Indy Night Nanny was hands down the best money we have ever spent. Like most expecting parents, and exponentially so for those expecting multiples, bringing home a newborn is a major adjustment—sleep and feeding schedules to maintain throughout the night often give way to tired & overwhelmed parents.
We trusted them so much, we would go to sleep and the night nanny would let herself in and out, even leaving the monitor right by us for the morning. It was like a magical fairy had taken the reins for a few hours and let us have the break we needed to be the best parents we could be during the day.
